Dimpled chin

A dimpled chin, also known as a pebbled chin, is a condition characterised by the appearance of small indentations or dimples in the chin. People can also be born with chin dimples or cleft chins which can really affect their self-confidence.It is usually caused by the hyperactivity of the mentalis muscle, which is responsible for controlling the movements of the lower lip and chin.

It affects adult men and women of all ages. Over time, as the skin loses its volume, this can have a permanent effect.

TREATMENT

Botilinium toxin is injected into the targeted area, temporarily freezing the muscle so that it can no longer cause the skin to crease or fold. When the muscles are hindered from working, the skin can relax.
