Duration of effects and when you can see the result may vary depending on individual factors such as product used, the amount and technique of injection, and how quickly the person's body metabolizes the product. 

The effects of Botox typically last for 3-4 months, after which the treatment will need to be repeated to maintain the results. The results of Botox may be seen within a few days to a week after the treatment, but the full effects may take up to two weeks to be visible.

Dermal fillers, on the other hand, provide longer-lasting results than Botox, with the effects lasting anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type of filler used and the area treated. The results of dermal filler treatments are typically visible immediately following the procedure, but may take a few days to fully settle in.

Botulinum toxin : Injection related side effects are minimal and temporary such as redness, swelling and bruising, headache and flu like symptoms. Spreading of the Botox to the muscles nearby can be easily prevented by avoiding rubbing or massaging the treated areas for 4 hours to avoid relaxing the surrounding muscles that the medication could spread to which could cause temporally asymmetry or droopy eye lids.

Dermal filler : After the treatment(s) some common injection-related reactions might occur, such as swelling, redness, pain, itching, discoloration and tenderness at the injection site. These typically resolve spontaneously within 2 to 10 days. Mild bruising or a slight blush might appear at the injection site immediately following treatment and may last for 2-10 days

Dermal fillers are generally considered safe, but there are certain individuals who should not use them, or should use them with caution. People who should avoid or be cautious when using dermal fillers include:

1. Pregnant or breastfeeding women: Dermal fillers have not been studied in pregnant or breastfeeding women, so it's best for them to avoid the treatment during this time.
2. People with a history of allergies or allergic reactions: If you have a history of allergic reactions or sensitivity to the ingredients in dermal fillers, you should not use them.
3. People with certain skin conditions: Dermal fillers should not be used on individuals with active acne, eczema, or other inflammatory skin conditions.

There are a few things you can do to reduce the risk of bruising after a dermal filler procedure:

1. Avoid blood-thinning medications: Before the procedure, your practitioner will likely ask you about any medications you are taking. Certain medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or vitamin E, can increase the risk of bruising. It is best to avoid these medications for several days prior to the procedure.
2. Avoid alcohol: Alcohol can also increase the risk of bruising, so it's best to avoid drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after the procedure.
3. Apply cold compresses: After the procedure, you can apply a cold compress to the injection site to help reduce swelling and bruising.
4. Keep your head elevated: After the procedure, it's best to keep your head elevated for a period of time to minimize blood flow to the area and reduce swelling and bruising.
5. Avoid rubbing, massaging or applying pressure on the area: It is important to avoid massaging or applying pressure on the area for a few days after the procedure to minimize the chance of displacement of the product.

Please note, that even if you take all the preventative measures, some mild bruising can happen, it's a common side effect and usually goes away within a few days.
